If you are putting your catering food warmers to good use this month, you might want to consider filling them with choices that are in keeping with April’s national food holidays. Although there are actually dozens of choices to celebrate, we have listed our favorites below. We have also supplied you with some recipe ideas to get the ball rolling.

To usher in National Soy Month, why not consider preparing Tofu Fried Rice? This option is not only healthier than some of the related meat options, but it’s also quick, easy, and delicious. As an added bonus, fried rice tends to hold well.

April 4 is Cordon Bleu Day. What better way to celebrate than by preparing the classic? We recommend this recipe, produced by the combined efforts of Martha Stewart and Emeril.

In conjunction with Easter, Good Friday marks the arrival of Hot Cross Buns Day. To prepare a batch of these classic holiday fixtures, you may have to allow yourself several hours of preparation, but we believe that the results will be well worth the effort.

April 17 is National Healthy Kids Day. Knowing the discerning palates of most children, we recommend pairing this healthy Stovetop Mac and Cheese recipe with some grilled chicken fingers.

The end of the month offers its own delightful food holiday: Shrimp Scampi Day, on April 29. Lush and buttery, this recipe from Epicurious is sure to thrill the seafood lovers among your client base.

As you work to keep your food warmers full delightful options such as these during April, remember that Thermodyne Foodservice Products, Inc., has been producing quality food warmers since 1987. We are proud of our premium products and look forward to sharing them with you. If you have questions or comments about our product line, please feel free to contact us.
