No matter what you are catering this month, you will want to keep your catering food warmers filled with delicious, fragrant foods guaranteed to satisfy. If you have any control over the menu at all, consider taking advantage of some of November’s wonderful food holidays.

First, in celebration of National Pepper Month, consider offering slow-cooked pepper steak for an entrée or these fabulous stuffed bell peppers as either a vegetarian entrée or a side dish. In addition, since November is also National Peanut Butter Lover’s Month, top the meal off with a warm chocolate peanut butter cake. These flavorful menu items will be the perfect way to show your appreciation of November all month long.

As for specific days of the month, start celebrating on November 3 – Sandwich Day – with one of the twenty-two hot sandwich recipes offered over at Bon Appetit. Choose one that will hold well for maximum effect.

On November 9, celebrate Scrapple Day with an offbeat scrapple-quiche breakfast casserole.

For Homemade Bread Day on November 17, we recommend a different bread to accompany each meal: bacon and cheddar cheese biscuits for breakfast, a gluten-free chickpea flatbread (socca pancake) for lunch, and these savory herbed olive oil fantail rolls for dinner.

Round out the festivities on November 23 with Eat a Cranberry Day. This Saucy Cranberry Maple Pudding Cake will be perfect for your food warmers, sure to keep mouths watering in delicious anticipation.
