Based on Catersource magazine’s last industry stats, catering remains a multi-billion dollar industry. It also shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. And that’s a good thing! Of course in order to capture a share of that green, catering companies will need to keep their equipment, skills and menus up-to-date.

That’s where Thermodyne Foodservice Products come into play. We have food warming cabinets that can help caterers stay relevant, efficient and prosperous. Our 583 pound, rolling 1500DP units are just one example. They have a cubic capacity of 17.44 ft³ and can automatically perform a trio of essential catering functions (heat, cool and hold). So it’s kind of like having another person on the team.

The same can be said about our 432 pound, rolling 700DP units. They each have a cubic capacity of 8.70 ft³ and reach a maximum operating temperature of 230°F. Thus, caterers may use them for small events or as an add-on to medium and large affairs.

Of course not all of our food warming cabinets are multi-purpose and as large as the ones that we mentioned previously. We also have standard, narrow and countertop food warming cabinets too. Some of them are perfect for food truck installation or use in other small spaces.

For steamed foods, caterers may want to invest in our on-call steam chamber or hot well units too. Known as the Steam Giant, our dedicated chamber features 3.72 ft³ of cooking and holding space that can reach temperatures up to 212°F. The hot well units, on the other hand, come in two sizes. They can hold steamed foods while cooking and rethermalizing other dishes. That makes them ideal for use at sit-down dinners, cocktail hours and buffets alike.

For more information about how Thermodyne Foodservice Products can help get catering firms’ food warming cabinets up to speed, please contact us at (800) 526-9182. Our food service equipment experts would be delighted to go over all of the different options available to today’s sophisticated caterers.
